Creamy Coconut Dip
A simple coconut dip that is made with coconut cream, lime and garlic to give it the full bodied creaminess and coconut flavour.

In a small bowl, add ½ cup coconut cream
Squeeze ½ lime into the coconut cream and mix it together
Finely chop 1 clove garlic and add it to the sauce.
Add 2 tablespoons maple syrup (or honey) and ½ teaspoon fish sauce mix well.
Do a taste test. Adjust it for the salt and sugar balance to your preference. Add more maple if you prefer a sweeter dip, and more fish sauce if you want a more savory dip.
Add 1 tablespoon desiccated unsweetened coconut. This will thicken up the dip and give it a bit of texture. Add more if you want a thicker dip
[Optional] Adding ½ teaspoon onion seeds adds a bit more spice and flavor to the dip.

- For a thinner dip, add 1-2 teaspoon of milk
- For a thicker dip, add 1 teaspoon of desiccated unsweetened coconut
- To make it even creamier, I like to sometimes add 1-2 tablespoons of mayo to the dip.
